FDA Amends Determination on Testosterone Propionate 2% Ointment

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has determined that testosterone propionate 2% ointment (Perandren Ointment) is not being withdrawn from sale due to safety or effectiveness concerns, and therefore, it is not eligible for abbreviated new drug applications (ANDA's) at this time.
