FDA Expands Delegation of Authority for Medical Device Approval

The FDA is updating its regulations to grant the Center for Devices and Radiological Health's Division Directors the authority to approve, reject, or withdraw approval of medical device development protocols and applications for premarket approval, effective immediately.
