FDA Publishes Amended Economic Impact Analysis for Medical Device Rule

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is releasing an updated economic analysis for a rule requiring labeling of medical devices containing natural rubber latex, following reports of severe allergic reactions and deaths, with the rule becoming effective on September 30, 1998.
