FDA to Host Public Meetings on Modernization Act of 1997

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is hosting a series of public meetings to discuss how it can best meet its obligations under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, with input from consumer and scientific groups and the regulated industry, in preparation for drafting its developmental plan under the Food Drug Administration Modernization Act of 1997 (FDAMA). Comments on the plan are due by September 11, 1998.
