FDA Approves New Milbemycin Oxime/Lufenuron Tablet for Dogs to Prevent Heartworm Disease and Control Fleas, Hookworms, and Roundworms

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a new animal drug application filed by Novartis Animal Health US, Inc. for a flavored tablet formulation to prevent heartworm disease and control flea, hookworm, and roundworm populations in dogs aged 4 weeks or older and weighing at least 11 pounds.
