FDA Proposes Rule for Over-the-Counter Sunscreen Products

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is issuing a proposed rule that would allow over-the-counter sunscreen products containing zinc oxide to be sold at concentrations of up to 25% alone or in combination with other active ingredients, pending a final review of a monograph covering all OTC sunscreen products.
