FDA Reopens Comment Period for Juice HACCP Proposal

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is extending the comment period for its proposal to implement Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles for fruit and vegetable juices and juice products until January 16, 1999, to gather feedback on technical scientific workshops and the 5-log pathogen reduction standard.
