U.S. Extends Work Authorization for Salvadorans Under Deferred Enforced Departure

The U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) has granted a 6-month extension of work authorization for Salvadorans under Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) until April 30, 1996, allowing them to apply for a new EAD based on a pending asylum application.
