US Implements New Regulations for Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishery
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has finalized a rule to protect coral reefs in Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary by closing commercial fishing gear in a specific area, as part of Amendment 34 to the Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishery Management Plan.
