U.S. Department of State Requests Approval for Reinstatement of Immigrant Visa Application Form

The Department of State has submitted a 30-day notice to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for approval to reinstate and modify an existing form for immigrant visa applications, which has expired. Comments are due by March 16, 1998, and the form is expected to be completed by approximately 750,000 aliens, requiring an estimated 18 million hours of response time.
