The U.S. Department of Commerce has determined that the People's Republic of China is providing countervailable subsidies to hard empty capsule producers and exporters, affecting companies such as Amneal Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Mylan N.V. The investigation period covered January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, and the Commerce Department will impose countervailing duties on eligible Chinese producers and exporters of hard empty capsules.
