U.S. Customs to Extend Test Program for Electronic Cargo Declarations

The U.S. Customs Service is extending its test program for electronic cargo declarations, allowing for the submission of certain vessel manifest information, and invites additional vessel carriers to participate in the test, which began in 1997 after its initial announcement in 1996.
