Draft Program Policy Letter on Reporting Occupational Illness

The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) voluntarily requests comments on a draft Program Policy Letter (PPL) that restates the reporting requirements of 30 CFR part 50 as they apply to occupational illnesses among miners, including retired or inactive miners. MSHA is publishing this notice to afford an opportunity for interested persons to comment on the draft PPL before it is issued.
