FTC Reopens and Modifies Consent Order for Schwegmann Giant Super Markets, Inc.

The Federal Trade Commission has reopened and modified a 1995 consent order requiring Schwegmann Giant Super Markets, Inc. to divest several supermarkets in the New Orleans area, replacing prior approval requirements with a prior notice provision for certain transactions until June 6, 2005.
