Federal Trade Commission to Host Public Workshop on Proposed Rule for Textile Care Labeling

The Federal Trade Commission will host a public workshop to discuss proposed amendments to its Care Labeling Rule, which regulates care instructions for textile wearing apparel and certain piece goods, following the publication of a notice of proposed rulemaking on May 8, 1998.
