EPA Approves South Dakota's Municipal Solid Waste Permit Program

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made a final determination that South Dakota's municipal solid waste permit program is adequate for non-Indian lands, including the former lands of the Yankton Sioux, Lake Traverse, and parts of the Rosebud Indian Reservation, in compliance with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and the Federal MSWLF Criteria.
