DOE Issues Record of Decision for Molybdenum-99 Medical Isotopes Production Project

The US Department of Energy has decided to proceed with a production capability for molybdenum-99 and related medical isotopes, with the selected facilities located at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
