Establishment of Class E Airspace; Tomahawk, WI

This notice proposes to establish Class E5 airspace at Tomahawk Regional Airport, Tomahawk, WI, to accommodate a Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range/Distance Measuring Equipment (VOR/DME- A). Controlled airspace extending upward from 700 to 1200 feet above ground level (AGL) is needed contain aircraft executing the approach. The intended affect of this proposal is to provide segregation of aircraft using instrument approach procedures in instrument conditions from other aircraft operating in visual weather conditions.
