BTS Requests Public Comment on Audit Report Requirement for U.S. Air Carriers

The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) is seeking public comment on its requirement for U.S. certificated air carriers to submit independent audited financial reports. The comment period is open for the public to provide input on whether the reports are necessary for the Department of Transportation (DOT) to monitor carriers' fitness and comply with international treaty obligations.
