US EPA Region 10 Proposes Deletion of Soil Unit from National Priorities List for Lakewood Site in Washington

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 10 is seeking public comment on its plan to remove the soil unit of the Lakewood Site in Washington from the National Priorities List (NPL), which is part of the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP). The proposal pertains to the contaminated soil and ground-water contamination at the site, which was caused by former disposal practices at the Plaza Cleaners dry cleaner.
