USDA Secretary Determines Skaneateles Lake Watershed Agricultural Program Payments Excludable From Income

The US Department of Agriculture's Secretary has ruled that payments made to individuals under the Skaneateles Lake Watershed Agricultural Program (SLWAP) for implementing best management practices are primarily for environmental conservation and can be excluded from income for tax purposes.
