EPA Removes Hanford 1100-Area from National Priorities List

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 10 has removed the Hanford 1100-Area from the National Priorities List (NPL), a list of contaminated sites, due to a lack of significant environmental threats. The decision was made after a review by EPA and the State of Washington.
