McDonnell Douglas Proposes Airworthiness Directive Update for DC-9-80, MD-88, and MD-90 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is considering a proposal to update an existing airworthiness directive (AD) for McDonnell Douglas Model DC-9-80 series, Model MD-88, and Model MD-90 airplanes, which would address issues with the autopilot and autothrottle systems.
