Medicare Program: Effective Date for Changes to Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment Systems and Fiscal Year 1997 Rates

The Medicare Program will take effect on October 1, 1996, following a Senate rejection of a joint resolution of disapproval, allowing the changes to the Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment Systems and Fiscal Year 1997 rates to go into effect.
