New Zealand Government Sets Procedures for Referendum on Kiwifruit Research Order

The New Zealand Department of Agriculture will follow specific procedures to determine if the proposed Kiwifruit Research, Promotion, and Consumer Information Order is approved by producers and importers, with a majority vote required and 50% of total kiwifruit production and importation in favor of approval.
