NMFS Grants Preliminary Approval for Exempted Fishing Permit Application

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Greater Atlantic Region, NMFS, has given preliminary approval for an Exempted Fishing Permit application submitted by the Northeast Seafood Coalition in partnership with the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries, allowing federally permitted fishing vessels to fish outside regulations in support of exempted fishing activities.
