Proposed Establishment of Class E Airspace, Montauk, NY

This proposed rule would establish Class E airspace at Montauk, NY. A Very High Frequency Omni-Directional Range (VOR) and Global Positioning System (GPS) standard instrument approach procedure (SIAP) has been developed for Runway (RWY) 6 at Montauk Airport, Montauk, NY. The intended effect of this proposal is to provide adequate controlled airspace for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations to the airport. The area would be depicted on aeronautical charts for pilot reference.
