Effluent Guidelines Plan

Today's notice announces the Agency's plans for developing new and revised effluent guidelines, which regulate industrial discharges to surface waters and to publicly owned treatment works. Section 304(m) of the Clean Water Act requires EPA to publish a biennial Effluent Guidelines Plan.
