US Department of Agriculture Eases Onion Shipping Rules

The US Department of Agriculture has adopted new rules allowing bulk shipments of onions with more than 30% U.S. No. 1 grade onions, aiming to improve marketing, reduce packing costs, and increase returns to growers, as recommended by the Idaho-Eastern Oregon Onion Committee.
