EPA Proposes Settlement Agreement for State of Colorado's Clean Air Act Litigation
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a settlement agreement with Citizens for Balanced Transportation (CBT) regarding the agency's alleged failure to take action on state implementation plans (SIPs) regulating carbon monoxide and particulate matter emissions in the Denver Metropolitan Area, Colorado. The proposed agreement would require EPA to sign a Notice of Final Rulemaking (NFRM) within a specified timeframe, with a 30-day comment period following publication of the notice.
