EPA Proposes Approval of Pennsylvania's Air Quality Plan for Reading Ozone Nonattainment Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve Pennsylvania's redesignation request for the Reading ozone nonattainment area, contingent on the state's correction of deficiencies in the request and submitted State Implementation Plan (SIP) revisions. The proposal also includes changes to EPA's policy on redesignation requirements for ozone nonattainment areas in the Ozone Transport Region (OTR).
