EPA Approves New Jersey's Plan to Reduce Ozone Emissions
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed to approve New Jersey's State Implementation Plan (SIP) revisions, which include transportation control measures (TCMs) to reduce volatile organic compounds by 15 percent between 1990 and 1996, and found that emissions from growth in vehicle miles traveled will not increase, making offsetting measures unnecessary.
