Ormet Railroad Corporation Exempted from Common Carrier Obligations Under 49 U.S.C. Subtitle IV

The Surface Transportation Board has granted Ormet Railroad Corporation exemption from certain common carrier obligations under 49 U.S.C. Subtitle IV, subject to the condition that the Board retains jurisdiction to conduct a full environmental review in the event of abandonment or discontinuation of service.
