Motor Carrier Transportation; Redesignation of Regulations From the Surface Transportation Board Pursuant to the ICC Termination Act of 1995

The FHWA is taking over motor carrier transportation regulations currently managed by the Surface Transportation Board, as a result of the ICC Termination Act of 1995, which abolished the Interstate Commerce Commission and transferred its functions to the STB and DOT, effective January 1, 1996.
