EPA Approves Tennessee's Ozone Nonattainment Plan, Redesignates Middle Tennessee Area

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the State of Tennessee's ozone nonattainment plan, redesignating the Middle Tennessee area from moderate nonattainment to attainment for ozone, as required by the Clean Air Act. This approval will make the plan a federally enforceable part of Tennessee's State Implementation Plan.
