EPA Proposes Extension of Stratospheric Ozone Protection Regulations

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to extend the existing regulations on refrigerant recycling until a revised purity standard is adopted, in an effort to prevent widespread contamination of chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) and hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) refrigerants and associated equipment damage.
