Household Goods Tariffs

The Board proposes to establish regulations governing the tariffs that motor carriers and freight forwarders are required to maintain, under 49 U.S.C. 13702, for the transportation of household goods. The Board also proposes to establish notice requirements that household goods carriers must comply with in order to be entitled to enforce the provisions of their tariffs against individuals whose shipments are subject to such tariffs.
