US Department of Education Clarifies Head Start Performance Standards for Early Childhood Development Services

The US Department of Education has issued an interpretation of a key section of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, allowing local educational agencies to choose between two sets of Head Start performance standards for early childhood development services until January 1, 1998.
