Bureau of Land Management Proposes Changes to Bodie Protection Act Regulations

The Bureau of Land Management is proposing amendments to its regulations to implement the Bodie Protection Act of 1994, which withdrew Federal lands around the historic Bodie, California gold mining town from mineral laws, requiring the Secretary of the Interior to establish surface management requirements for mining claims and sites within the Bodie Bowl.
