U.S. Navy to Hold Public Hearing on Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Reuse of Naval Station Puget Sound

The U.S. Department of the Navy will hold a public hearing to discuss its Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the proposed reuse of the former Naval Station Puget Sound in Seattle, Washington, which was closed in 1995. The hearing is required by the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and will assess the potential environmental impacts of the reuse plan.
