Advanced Meat/Bone Separation Machinery and Meat Recovery Systems

The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is soliciting data and information, from the public and industry, concerning the compliance requirements of its regulation entitled ``Meat Produced by Advanced Meat/Bone Separation Machinery and Meat Recovery Systems.'' FSIS also requests information and data on other approaches that might be utilized to assure that product derived from advanced meat/bone recovery systems is ``meat.'' This action responds to concerns raised by consumer groups and industry members.
