US Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Deadman Creek Timber Sales

The US Forest Service is preparing an environmental impact statement for a proposal to harvest and regenerate timber in the Deadman Creek area of the Colville National Forest, in compliance with the 1988 Forest Plan. Written comments are invited on the scope of the analysis, which will inform the final decision.
