Federal Railroad Administration to Investigate Wisconsin Central Ltd.'s Proposal for One-Person Crews and Remote-Control Locomotive Operations

The Federal Railroad Administration will conduct an informal safety inquiry into a proposal by Wisconsin Central Ltd. to expand its use of one-person crews and remote-control locomotive operations, following petitions from the United Transportation Union.
