DOE Announces Intent to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Rocky Flats Site

The US Department of Energy (DOE) plans to assess the potential environmental impacts of managing plutonium residues and scrub alloy stored at the Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site in Colorado, a facility previously used for nuclear weapons production.
