Elwha River Ecosystem Restoration Implementation: Final Environmental Impact Statement Now Available

The U.S. government has made the final environmental impact statement (FEIS) for the removal of the Elwha and Glines Canyon dams and restoration of the Elwha River ecosystem and its native anadromous fisheries available for public review. The FEIS presents the proposed action and alternatives for restoring the river's ecosystem and native fisheries, aligning with the objectives of the Elwha River Ecosystem and Fisheries Restoration Act of 1992.
