US Government Proposes Establishment of Class E5 Airspace at Sawyer Airport in Michigan
The US government has proposed establishing Class E5 airspace at Sawyer Airport in Gwinn, Michigan, to accommodate the installation of an Instrument Landing System, a Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range, and a Distance Measuring Equipment, which will serve runway 01/19 approach, in order to segregate aircraft using instrument approach procedures from other aircraft operating in visual weather conditions.
