Bio-Cide International, Inc. Withdraws Food Additive Petition from FDA

Bio-Cide International, Inc. has withdrawn its food additive petition (FAP 6A4499) from the FDA, which proposed amending food additive regulations to allow the safe use of acidified sodium chlorite solutions in seafood processing to control spoilage microorganisms and extend shelf life.
