EPA Proposes Changes to National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutant Emissions for Group I and Group IV Polymers and Resins

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) plans to propose changes to the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutant Emissions for Group I Polymers and Resins and Group IV Polymers and Resins, aligning them with the recently promulgated standards for the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturing Industry and other processes subject to the Negotiated Regulation for Equipment Leaks (Hazardous Organics NESHAP or HON). The proposed changes will also extend the compliance date for heat exchange systems to September 5, 1999.
