US Department of Agriculture Adopts Assessment Rate for Domestically Produced Peanuts Handled by Non-Signatory Handlers

The US Department of Agriculture is adopting a final rule to establish an assessment rate for domestically produced peanuts handled by persons not subject to the Peanut Marketing Agreement No. 146, which regulates the quality of peanuts grown in 16 states, and applies to non-signatory handlers who receive or acquire peanuts from farmers.
