Navy Amends Certifications and Exemptions Under International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972

The US Navy is updating its exemptions under the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972, to exempt a specific naval vessel, CORMORANT, from certain provisions due to its unique construction and purpose, in order to prevent interference with its naval functions, and to warn mariners in applicable waters.
